Taking place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), the exhibition provides opportunities for manufacturers in China to connect with global specialists and gain insight into new approaches and technologies which can help shape future process improvement.

With many years of experience, Quaker Houghton’s expertise covers die casting lubricants and equipment, porosity sealing and metalworking fluids, with fully customisable systems and support services to meet virtually all process needs.

Dr Mark Cross, Global Business Development Director - Die Casting for Quaker Houghton, explains: “Worldwide, we’re seeing new trends in die casting, including digitalisation, sustainability and the die casting of increasingly large, structural components. These trends are presenting the industry with new challenges, and we have developed solutions to solve them cost-effectively.”

A wide range of innovative products and technologies will be on view, including die release and plunger lubricants, fire resistant hydraulics and metalworking fluids. This includes the innovative, patented water-free electrostatic spray technology, Lubrolene®, ideal for improving the die casting of large and complex cast parts – available from Quaker Houghton in the Chinese market. Quaker Houghton will also be showcasing a new range of die release lubricant mixing and spray systems which ensure optimal lubricant application and release performance.

There will be a strong presence for Quaker Houghton subsidiary, Ultraseal, who will showcase its world-class vacuum impregnation chemicals, equipment and services developed to seal porosity in die cast components.

“Quaker Houghton provides a complete solution for improving die casting processes,” says Cross. “The exhibition provides us with an opportunity to share these innovations and help manufactures in China maximise their die casting performance.”
