Rheinmetall showcasing the shift to new drive technologies The Auto Shanghai motor show takes place April 21-28 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai, China. Rheinmetall AG will be on hand in Hall 1.2 at booth 1.2 5BJ152. Under the motto “Drive Change”, the German tier 1 supplier will be showcasing components and system solutions for modern drive technologies such as electric and hybrid motors.
Measuring some 60 square meters, the exhibition stand will feature a wide array of products. The focus is on the latest developments for electric motors, including an e-motor housing and a battery tray, both of which are locally produced by Group joint venture companies in China.
In addition to cast parts used in electrically powered vehicles, also on show will be components for battery cooling, for electric drive units, and pumps used in electromotors. On display too is an electrical air conditioning compressor that serves among other things as a component in the air conditioning system of electrically powered vehicles.

Visitors can also inspect components for contemporary fuel cell-powered drives, including a hydrogen recirculation blower, a cathode valve, and special cooling pumps for high-voltage drives.
