Southfield / Michigan - Grede Receives Honda Quality Award

Grede Holdings LLC today announced that its facility in Reedsburg, Wis., received the Honda Supplier Award for Excellence in Quality. The award was presented during the Honda Supplier Conference on April 11 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.

"We are honored to receive this award and to be recognized by Honda for our performance,” said Doug Grimm, chairman, president and CEO, Grede Holdings LLC. “This recognition validates Grede’s hard work and commitment to provide our customers with the highest quality parts in the industry.”

“The employees at Reedsburg operate under the philosophy that safety is number 1 and quality is 1.1,” said Dan Antonetti, general manager at Grede Reedsburg. “It is a mind-set that is engrained in our culture and is the foundation that allowed us to receive such a prestigious award. We are grateful to all of our employees for their continued support that has proven to be essential to our business, especially since all of the products Reedsburg produces for Honda are safety critical automotive components.”

Grede supplies safety-critical suspension parts including lower control arms, front knuckles, and damper forks for the Honda Acura TL, Pilot, MDX, Odyssey, Ridgeline, and CRV.
