The third edition of Asiamold will feature over 250 exhibitors of which 75% are plastics manufacturers and mould and die cast makers, 20% are suppliers of plastic and metal processing technology, with the remaining 5% distributors of related equipment and peripheral technology. The region’s leading trade fair for the mould-making and tooling industry will roll out at the Poly World Trade Centre in Guangzhou from 16 ― 18 September 2009.
Most notably in these tough economic times, over 60% of the exhibitors participating at Asiamold 2009 will come from overseas countries and regions including Germany, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Korea, Russia, Singapore, Taiwan, the UK and the US.
Special pavilions to feature leading companies from Hong Kong, Singapore and Europe
The Hong Kong Pavilion organised by the Hong Kong Mould & Die Council will showcase the latest product range of Ace Mold, FengChuan Tooling, Hongrita Plastics and Ultratech. In addition, under the pavilion’s Advanced Moulding Workshop, GoodMark Industrial Ltd, Hongrita Plastic Mould Ltd and Pearly Hot Runner Ltd will present the manufacturing process of sophisticated mould and die equipment.
The Metal Manufacturing Pavilion organised by the Hong Kong Metal Manufacturers Association is to feature thus far over 30 of its members. Exhibitor highlights to look out for include Eva Precision Holding Ltd, Loxca Industries Ltd, Yuk Kee Metal & Plastic Factory Ltd.
Big name brands exhibiting under the Singapore Pavilion organised by the Singapore Precision Engineering and Tooling Association include Amura Precision Tooling, Dynacast, Lockwell Fasteners & Engineering, MAGMA Engineering, Sunny Instruments and Taipei Industries.
While under the EuroMold Pavilion organised by DEMAT more than 20 companies including SSC-Services, Tebis, Z Corporation, Weicon GmbH, IXION GmbH, Auerbach Maschinenfassrik GmbH, as well as the renowned German mould and die association VDWF will participate under this pavilion.
Over 110 local brands gather under one roof
With an export value of USD1.9 billion in 2008, China has become an important exporter of mould and die products. Guangdong and Zhejiang provinces are considered the mould and die capitals of China as they lead the country's production and export of manurfactured goods.
Located ideally in Guangzhou, the capital city of Guangdong province, Asiamold will showcase over 110 local companies from the major manufacturing clusters of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Foshan in the Guangdong province, plus those from Taizhou, Wenzhou, Suzhou in the Zhejiang province. Top Chinese enterprises such as Jason Tooling (China) Ltd, Lijian Precision Mold Manufacture Co Ltd, Shenzhen Sunway Plastic Mold Co Ltd, Binhai Mould & Plastic Group Co Ltd and Zhejiang Kaihua Moulds Co Ltd will present their latest mould-making services, tooling and machinery equipment at the fair.
