has acquired WD-Giesserei-Technik GmbH based in Fuldabrück near Kassel

WD-Giesserei-Technik manufactures cores used by foundries to form shapes in moulds. The main market is the automobile industry and its subsuppliers. Süd-Chemie will be integrating WD-Giesserei-Technik after close cooperation for many years in its Business Unit Foundry Products and Specialty Resins. All 70 employees will be retained. </span></font>
