Surface Technology shows confidence at WIN Istanbul 2010
The trade Fair WIN – World of Industry Istanbul (Part 1 February 4th to 8th 2010) has demonstrated a positive outlook for Surface Treatment Technology in Turkey. At the specialized exhibition for Surface Treatment Technology the exhibitors presented Cleaning and Pre-Treatment, Shot-Blasting, Paint application, Plating and Industrial Plasma-Surface Treatment Technology to visitors from Turkey and the adjacent countries. With a positive perception WIN Istanbul underlines the view of many market participants for a gradual improvement of the economic situation. Despite a slight reduction of the number of exhibitors and rented space, the number of qualified contacts exceeded by far the results of the preceding event. Exhibitors experienced a good demand and drew a positive conclusion. "The Turkish market is on the rise again", stated Mr Frank Schächer (Paul Auer GmbH, Mannheim/Germany). "Even on the first and second day – traditionally the weaker days of the exhibition – we had numerous relevant contacts. WIN Surface Treatment was far better than last year." | Dr. Reinar Grün (Managing Director of PlaTeg GmbH., Siegen/Germany) sees good application potential for Industrial Surface-Treatment Technology at WIN Istanbul. "This year our company has exhibited for the first time at WIN Istanbul. We have good expectations based on the wide range of relevant mechanical engineering technology at this exhibition. We believe in the growth of industrial production in Turkey. There will be an increasing for Industrial Plasma-Surface Treatment in this market." Also for Krautzberger GmbH (Eltville/Germany) the presence at WIN Istanbul is likely to pay off. "The demand at the exhibition has been very good", stated Mr Roland Sommer, Sales Director at Krautzberger. "WIN Istanbul is part of our annual exhibition plan." Connecting Europe and Asia WIN - World of Industry is established as the leading exhibition of industrial goods. The German participation provides a good opportunity for German companies to present products and services for this important market. | SurfaceTreatment 2011 will be held at Part 1 of WIN 2011 from February 3rd to 6th 2011.
