The 18th International Fair of Technologies for Foundry METAL and the 11th International Fair of Aluminium & Technology, Materials and Non-Ferrous Metal Products ALUMINIUM & NONFERMET to be held in Targi Kielce from 25th to 27th September.

Last year’s Kielce holiday of foundry engineering brought together 2,500 visitors, over 400 participants of conferences, congresses and workshops. For the first time in Poland it was also the venue for life presentations of machines in operation. The business sector festival also produced an exceptional abundance of medals, awards and distinctions. The 18th edition of the International Fair of Technologies for Foundry METAL accompanied by the 11th International Fair of Aluminium & Technology, Materials and Non-Ferrous Metal Products ALUMINIUM & NONFERMET and the 15th Fair of Industrial Measuring Technology and Non-Destructive Testing CONTROL-TECH  are Poland’s largest events of this kind as well as one of Europe’s most important exhibitions.

The METAL 2012 will encompass a whole array of business sector meetings, conferences and training sessions. Another edition of the Forum of Foundry Directors and Presidents will be held the day before the exhibition commences; this jubilee meeting will continue the 20 years’ tradition. The annual forum gathers a large group of business insiders and becomes the platform for Polish business sector managers to discuss and inform about the present day state of the foundry business as well as its development prospects. The organisers debate about the most significant problems Polish foundries have to face and familiarise the meeting participants with the latest cutting-edge solutions applied in foundries all over the world. The convention is organised by Polish Foundrymen’s Association

The Enterprise Europe Network division which operates within the structures of Staropolska Chamber of Industry and Commerce is proud to invite you to the brokerage meetings addressed for the business sector of metals. The EEN is the European Commission’s body dedicated to help companies and entrepreneurs.

Brokerage meetings are a very efficient way to acquire new business contacts as well as potential business partners. Brokerage meetings are based upon the idea of a face-to-face meeting attended by representatives of two companies; bilateral business meetings are regarded one of the most effective ways to establish long-lasting business contacts. The information provided upon registration is the basis for partners selection and meeting arrangement made by the EEN consultants. The Kielce’s centre of the Enterprise Europe Network operating at the Staropolska Chamber of Industry and Commerce is a part of the network which associates 600 such centres from 50 countries of the world; every year they provide their services to almost 2 million companies.

Last year’s edition of the METAL fair brought together over 300 companies from 29 countries of the world – more than half of them were foreign companies or their commercial agencies in Poland; they presented their offer on almost 3000 square metres of the exhibition space. The branch range of the fair was really extensive as it was the answer to the trade fair exhibitors’ and visitors’ demand; and this range covered everything what is necessary for foundry engineering. A few hundred exhibition stands of the companies from all over the world were the showcases not only for specialised machines and appliances for foundry and non ferrous metal industries, pressure foundry furnaces, casting machine tools but also for smaller, hand and machine tools as well as the software designed for foundries and casting houses. The exhibitors also put on display raw materials, components and materials used in metallurgical processes in addition to pressure casts made of aluminium, magnesium or zinc. For the first time in the seventeen years of the trade fair’s history and in the history of Polish trade fairs in general, the exhibition provided the guests with the chance to observe a casting machine working live. The Frech exhibition stand was the venue for this unusual presentation.

The METAL fair is UFI associated; UFI – The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry associates the most prestigious fair events in the world. The UFI membership is the proof of the international status of the METAL fair, its high organisational standards and proper promotion of the event; it also guarantees that the fair is attended by the exhibitors and visitors from all over the world.
