With the launch of the ASCOJET 1208, the Swiss company ASCO CARBON DIOXIDE LTD developed a compact and easy-to-handle dry ice blasting machine, which is suitable for industrial applications.
The dry ice blasting unit ASCOJET 1208 impresses with a new modern frame design and self-explanatory pictograms. The 107 lb unit is easily carried to any place, thanks to the two large fixed rear wheels, as well as two lockable small front wheels. Housing and frame are made of robust powder coated steel. The newly integrated grounding roll and the pellet hopper’s protective grating help guarantee even safer handling during the dry ice blasting process. Consumption rates for average dry ice volume and blasting pressure can be easily adjusted manually.
ASCO Managing Director Marco Pellegrino is completely convinced by the new ASCO dry ice blasting machine and explains: "This high-performance machine is characterised by its lightness. Thanks to the compact design, the ASCOJET 1208 is also suitable for more delicate cleaning work. Since dry ice blasting is a corrosion-free and non-abrasive process, even sensitive surfaces can be cleaned easily. The combination of high cleaning performance and relatively low compressed air consumption is an additional bonus."
