CHINA DIECASTING 2017 - The 12th China International Diecasting Congress & Exhibition (CID) & 2017 China Nonferrous Alloys & Special Casting Exhibition (CNF) were held from July 19th to 21st at Shanghai New International Exhibition Center (SNIEC), China. Organized by Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (FICMES) and NürnbergMesse China, CHINA DIECASTING 2017 enjoyed the biggest success ever in its history.

Key Technologies presented by more than 300 exhibitors attract more than 14.000 visitors

The leading trade fair covered two halls and gathered 323 exhibitors (2016: 295) from 19 countries and regions (Germany, France, Denmark, Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, United Kingdom, Sweden, Spain, Switzerland, United States, Japan, Korea, India, Iran, Thailand, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan), and attracted 14,256 trade visitors (2016: 12,072) during three days. 22% of all exhibitors came from oversea, the impressive international participation made CHINA DIECASTING 2017 the global hotspot in the Chinese die casting industry.



Sino-Foreign Diecasting Development Forum

The key technologies, new development and latest market trends were presented to the Chinese die casting industry during the “2017 Development Forum on Nonferrous Alloys and Special Casting”, with. 35 speakers from China and abroad, which brought plenty of hot topics to the “12th China International Diecasting Congress” to exchange innovative ideas with around 210 attendees.
Meanwhile 3 keynote speeches were shared at the “Future & Development – 2017 Sino-Foreign Die Casting Development Forum”, which invited 7 experts from leading companies and associations like NEMAK, DGS Druckguss AG, Bühler (China), Ford Motor REC (Nanjing), Anycasting Software, Foundry Planet, and University of Applied Sciences Landshut. The forum succeeded to achieve the aim to build a high-end industry platform, on which international participants could share views on current development, new products and innovative systems.

Various Program,  International Matchmaking and Best Diecasting Competition

                                                    
CHINA DIECASTING 2017 impressed the professional visitors with various onsite programs. With 18 innovative presentations, the “Innovative Die Casting Products & Technologies Release” was regarded as the effective platform for exhibitors to display their latest technologies and newest development.
The “Best Die Casting Competition” event caught the most attention of exhibitors and visitors as expected, because it’s not only a competition, also a platform for enterprises to present their brands and products, and to make new business connections. 60 die casting companies displayed 113 pieces of die casting products from application fields like accessories for automobiles and motorcycles, electronics, metal for civil use, as well as mechanical-electrical instrument and others. Gathering high-end die casting manufacturers like Georg Fischer, NEMAK, DGS, Adolf Föhl, Alteams, Prec-cast, FAW Foundry Chengdu, CITIC Dicastal and Dalian Yaming Automotive Parts, the ”Innovative Die Casting Review” presented 18 pieces of high quality die casting parts to professional visitors and inspired them with 6 technical speeches with a focus on the automobile lightweight trend.



International match making events played a valuable role at the exhibition. The “Gasgoo International Match-making” invited 10 famous buyers like Schaeffler Greater China, Toyota Boshoku group, HELLA, Flex-N-Gate and etc. to establish business contacts with around 115 suppliers. The “2017 Match-making for Moulds & Die Casting Parts” matched 37 purchasers and 75 die casting suppliers in Match-making Area. Through the face to face negotiation most of the participants reached their target groups. At “the 4th Trade Fair of China Foundry Science and Technology Achievements”, 5 well-known universities shared 12 scientific and technological achievements, which attracted enterprises to apply the academic achievements to the actual production. The “Solutions for Moulds and Die Casting Parts” invited 2 experts to solve technical problems of aluminum and magnesium alloy die castings. With the help of experts, the technical participants got to learn more practical skills. For mould manufacturers, the “Mould Design @ Manufacture Outsourcing Service and Cost Accounting Sharing” had 9 mould cost analyzing control experts onsite, who offered free advices referring to mould design and cost accounting.

CHINA DIECASTING 2017 was very successful, meanwhile more records are expected. The next event CHINA DIECASTING 2018 will be held from July 18th to 20th  in 2018 covering three halls at SNIEC.
