Turkish foundry Cemas sees output rise by 14pct in H1

Turkish foundry Cemas Döküm Sanayi AS announced that in the H1 of this year it increased its production by 14.04% YoY to 5,606 tonnes.

In the January to June period of this year, Cemas' sales amounted to 5,859 tonnes, rising by 8.4% while its sales revenues came to TRL 15.93 million up 15.31% both compared to the same period last year.

Founded in 1976, Cemas increased its capacity to 25,000 tonnes in 2009 with new investments and is serving local and international markets with gray and pig iron and sphero casting parts for the automotive, durable goods and machinery industries. The foundry is equipped with four molding lines, six induction furnaces, three sand mixers, a sand cooler and cold box machines.
