JVM <link _top>Castings Limited, the UK’s biggest pressure <link _top>die caster with factories in Tamworth and Worcester, plans to build a green field factory in Slovakia, to supply its European customers.
The business will be known as JVM <link _top>Castings (Slovakia) s.r.o and, when completed in 2010, the <link _top>high pressure die casting and <link _top>machining facility will occupy approx 30,000 square metres.
The Slovak plant will produce machine finished automotive <link _top>castings for one of JVM’s Romanian customers, however initial indications show that the factory will have universal appeal to JVM’s customers, as its central location makes it an ideal manufacturing base for supplying the whole of mainland Europe.
