Work on the first phase of solar panel installation at our Tipton foundry is now complete!
An investment of £0.75million, the project will provide around 1m kWh of electricity per year, confirming our commitment not only to our environmental goals, but to the UK foundry industry and UK manufacturing.
The next phase of the project is already underway on the adjacent buildings and should be complete in early December.
This latest investment aims to keep TD Foundry at the leading edge of the UK foundry industry for many years to come, whilst maintaining a commitment to the environment with our plan to be net zero carbon by 2040.
