Another Syracuse manufacturer is closing its doors, taking nearly 90 jobs with it.
Oberdorfer Aluminum Casting Foundry has announced plans to shut down, citing economic reasons for the decision.
The plant on Thompson Road produces cast aluminum component parts and has been in business for more than a century. It currently employs 86 people, all who will lose their jobs.
The foundry's last day of operation will be May 3rd.
