Voestalpine wins EUR 100 million axle component order from Daimler Trucks

Publicly listed voestalpine AG has a contract worth around EUR 100 million at Daimler Trucks pulled ashore. The company supplies axle components to the German automobile manufacturer. The contract was signed and walk over five years.

The axle components were redesigned and come around in the truck's flagship Mercedes Benz Actros used. They are completed in the axle plant at Daimler in Kassel and at the assembly plant in Wörth am Rhein installed. In their production coming from the voestalpine Processing GmbH patented forming process alphas forming is used. This order would establish the company as an innovative player in the European commercial vehicle market.
