Prof. Danko serves as Vice-Rector for Student Affairs at the renowned AGH University of Krakow and is also President of the Polish Foundrymen’s Association (Stowarzyszenie Techniczne Odlewników Polskich – STOP). With his academic expertise and industry experience, Prof. Danko will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the WFO.
The WFO Strategy Group now consists of representatives from Poland, China, Germany, and Spain. This high-level group supports the WFO Executive Board in driving forward strategic decisions on key topics relevant to the future of the WFO and the global metal casting industry. Together, the group aims to promote innovation, sustainability, digital transformation, and talent development in foundries worldwide.
