TÜDÖKSAD introduced the Turkish foundry industry on an 18 m² area in the fair area where 120 companies opened stands organized within the scope of the event. During the meetings held to establish sustainable collaborations with international participants, a call for cooperation was made for the World Foundry Congress to be held in Turkey in 2026.
TÜDÖKSAD delegation also held meetings with the China Foundry Association, one of the main organizers of the congress, and other international foundry associations. In the meeting held with the officials of the China Foundry Association, while the cooperation opportunities between the two countries were evaluated, it was agreed that China participates the World Foundry Congress 2026 in Turkey. In addition, meetings were held with the BRICS Foundry Federation, Hong Kong and Vietnam Foundry Associations and cooperation opportunities were discussed.
TÜDÖKSAD management exchanged ideas about the congress organization with WFO representatives at the WFO (World Foundry Association) Board of Directors meeting. TÜDÖKSAD delegation took notes to evaluate the use of the suggestions for the congress in Turkey.
During the congress, TÜDÖKSAD team had the opportunity to introduce the sectoral innovations in Turkey to the international community by representing Turkey's high standards in the foundry sector and its structure open to global cooperation.
At the closing ceremony of the congress, a promotional video on the Metal Casting Industry and Turkey prepared by TÜDÖKSAD was shown. The 76th World Foundry Congress was officially announced to be held in Istanbul in 2026. The Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and WFO Board Member Mr. Mehmet Özalp was appointed as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mehmet Özalp took the congress flag in a ceremony and mentioned in his speech that this was an important symbolic step for the World Foundry Congress in Turkey 2026.
