To continue the rapid economic growth ZPF Group has bundled a strategic package of measures, focussed on future business markets and segments.
After the successful start of an own production with the ZPF Industrial Furnaces Co. Ltd in Taicang (China), ZPF Group now wants to develop and conquer the market areas within the People’s Republic of China and close-by regions. Especially China with its immense growth offers enormous potential. The entire mobility sector is of particular importance, starting with the car industry, over the motor bike industry up to the aircraft industry. In order to be able to serve the „tiger states“, located in the Asian-Pacific region, ZPF Asia Pacific PE Ltd. headquartered in Singapore was founded. A double-digit number of furnace plants have already been placed in Indonesia, especially in the wheel industry. But also Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia or the Philippines belong to the countries with high market attractiveness.
India, doubtlessly a country with a large potential for growth, will no longer be first choice for the ZPF Group regarding initial installation business. „From our point of view the appreciation for a high quality product has significantly declined on the side of the customer. To be defined only by means of prices does not correspond with the corporate philosophy of ZPF“, Holger Groß, managing director of the ZPF Group, explains his decision. The existing clients in India shall still be able to benefit from a high degree of service quality.
The sales activities in Russia initiated by ZPF Group approximately 2 years ago will for the time being continue unabatedly. The high demand for modernization in the economy of the CIS states will lead to increasing investments in the forthcoming years. The relationship network already established by ZPF will allow participating in the accommodation of investments.
The most important key market, however, is still the domestic market in Europe.
Aside from the German speaking key countries, increased sales measures will be taken for Italy, Turkey and France in the future. In addition, Key Account Management is supposed to be furthered more intensely than before.
Considering the product and service portfolio of the ZPF Group there are two challenges in the centre of attention. Firstly, after the acquisition of ZPF Foundry4 GmbH, the dosing furnace business has to be established for the long run. Here the goal is to break open the presently prevailing monopolistic structures and to offer to the customers a high quality product as an alternative to the already existing products on the market. Secondly, an essential focus of customer service will be a fully extended service range. This means around-the-clock assistance during the entire life period of a furnace plant. For this purpose ZPF Services GmbH has been founded. The service package will be completed by ZPF consulting activities. This includes particularly tasks like the conceptional composition of production layouts or the optimum configuration of the entire plant technology in melting plants.
