ZPF therm, specialist for aluminium melting furnaces, presents a new, vertical charging unit as a prototype at this year's GIFA trade fair in Düsseldorf. Unlike all electric charging devices to date, this unit is powered hydraulically, and has been designed to offer maximum operational flexibility. The unit can turn and move, and can reach up to 5m high. The weight of each loaded batch can be up to 1 ton. In addition, the engineers have improved the maintainability of the system by using as few mechanical components as possible.
The Siegelsbach company's highlight this year, however, is the development of an innovative tandem aluminium melting furnace, which will be presented as a model at the GIFA trade fair. The leading-edge technology of this innovation exemplifies future trends and designs for ZPF therm's aluminium melting furnaces.
