The meeting entitled "THE GULF ALUMINIUM INDUSTRY AND IMPACTS WITH THE UE MARKET" is scheduled on Friday 13th June at 9h30 in Hall 2. The speakers will be Mahmood Daylami, Secretary General GAC, and Walid Al Attar, Vice-President EGA. This special event - organized in association with the Gulf Aluminium Association - aims at analysing the prospects of strategic partnership between the European Union and the Gulf Aluminium Council.
After a major official presentation in Brussels in early March 2014, the Gulf Aluminium Council has chosen METEF to promote the great opportunities of partnership between the Middle East - a region that currently is one of the world's most important poles for primary metal production - and the European downstream aluminium industry - which requires high-quality and easily-available metal and has world-level processing and machining technologies.
The topic of mobility and business opportunities for aluminium producers in the Gulf area will be dealt with from 10h30 to 13h00.
