Growth is plainly evident for the anniversary event of parts2clean: As of the middle of December 2011, more than 100 companies have already booked their booth locations for the 10th edition of the leading international trade fair from the 23rd through the 25th of October, 2012. Event promoter Hartmut Herdin explains this great exhibitor interest, on the one hand, by the event's clear-cut alignment to the process sequence for industrial parts and surface cleaning, which provides suppliers and users with additional benefits. On the other hand, the experienced trade fair organiser sees increasing demand for efficient cleaning solutions as a growth engine.

Improved quality, greater energy efficiency, better environmental protection and more flexibility are just a few of the requirements for which users of industrial cleaning technology are seeking solutions. And parts2clean has established itself around the globe as the number one information and procurement platform in this respect. This is substantiated by the 18% increase in visitor numbers experienced at the last event at the end of October 2011, as well as by the fact that roughly 20% of the visitors came from outside of Germany. They journeyed from 49 countries on all five continents to attend parts2clean in Stuttgart.

"Both the quantity and the quality of the visitors were outstanding. As always, we had top-notch discussions regarding concrete tasks and projects. We were surprised that we had so many international visitors at our booth. The visitors are looking for solutions to their cleaning problems, and in some cases they even bring workpieces with them", reports Marion Stamm, sales manager for industrial ultrasonics at Bandelin Electronic GmbH & Co. KG. The company is one of more than a hundred which, as of mid-December, has already booked its booth location for the anniversary event at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre. Nearly all of the market and technology leaders are already represented from exhibition sectors including equipment, processes and system components, as well as process media and their conditioning for the degreasing, cleaning, deburring and pre-treatment of parts, parts baskets and workpiece carriers, handling and process automation, preservation, corrosion protection and packaging, cleanroom technology, job-shop cleaning, quality assurance, test methods and analysis procedures.

Offerings for Many Industries and Diverse Materials

"Not only do visitors come to parts2clean with challenges in the areas of fine cleaning and micro-cleaning. A considerable percentage of the users are looking for efficient solutions for deburring and simple cleaning tasks in manufacturing and MRO", says Hartmut Herdin, managing director of event promoters fairXperts GmbH. The industry mix is correspondingly wide-ranging including the automotive industry and its suppliers, the aviation industry, medical technology, machinery manufacturing, forming technology, ophthalmic and industrial optics, the jewellery and clock making industries, energy and solar technology, electrical engineering and electronics, the sanitary industry, plastics engineering, maintenance service providers, remanufacturers and many other sectors. Roughly 90% of the visitors are involved with investment decisions at their companies. "The broad-based parts2clean visitor profile and the high levels of decision making authority demonstrated by the expert visitors makes it easy for suppliers of products and services in the field of industrial cleaning technology to establish contacts cost-effectively, within sectors in which they were previously only minimally present, or not represented at all", says the trade fair promoter.

International parts2clean Pavilion at WIN Part I

For the first time ever, an international parts2clean Theme Pavilion with roughly ten exhibitors will be on hand at WIN Part I in 2012, which will be held in Istanbul from the 2nd through the 5th of February. On the one hand, Turkey's dynamic industrial growth was a decisive factor in this respect. A great variety of products are manufactured with modern equipment and machinery ranging from household appliances, automobiles and purchased parts, right on up to electronics. And cleaning is playing an ever more important role in this regard. On the other hand, Turkey is making great efforts to improve environmental protection. Amongst other things, for instance, a new EU twinning project (TR 09 IB EN 01) for the "Control of Industrial Volatile Organic Compound Emissions" has been launched. Within the framework of this project, Germany is supporting Turkey in the implementation of its goal of avoiding and/or significantly reducing the emission of VOCs (volatile organic compounds) in order to protect the environment and human health. "We would like to assist in particular smaller and mid-sized companies in gaining a foothold in the highly interesting markets of Turkey and MENA (Middle East and North Africa) with our international parts2clean communal booth", reports Hartmut Herdin. In addition to initial business contact directly at the event, participating companies are also targeting the development of new sales partners.
