In October 2014, Fill Machinery & Engineering (Shanghai), Co., Ltd. was officially registered as a company in China. For the Austrian mechanical engineering company Fill, China is one of the most important markets. With the founding of the subsidiary, Fill has now been even closer to its customers for five years and can further expand its position as a market and technology leader. During this time, orders from almost all of Fill's competence centers (foundry technology, metal cutting technology, profile technology, plastics, wood & construction, service) were implemented in China. The technological diversity and geographical distribution of the projects are remarkable.
The fifth anniversary of Fill China was celebrated in Shanghai on October 18, 2019. Managing Director Thomas Rathner invited all employees, some fitters and representatives of Fill Austria as well as friends of the company to a joint dinner. As is the tradition in China, the highlight of the celebration was the 5-year cake, which was cut by a representative from Austria and China.
