Challenge Mobility of the future: Chances and challenges E-Mobility
The powertrain of the future, legal regulations for the CO2 fleet regulation – these are challenge the automotive industry is facing.
There are a lot of opened questions: What are the expectations of the automotive industry for suppliers like GF? How can a sustainable supplier strategies look like? What are the motivations for companies to invest in E-Mobility? Where do we see chances for us? Has the internal combustion engine served its purpose or will it live longer than expected?
On the 10th and 11th of April 2018, GF Casting Solutions invited internal and external specialists from R&D, Strategy, Sales, Marketing and Production to the MOV[E] Event in Schaffhausen with the topic E-Mobility and alternative powertrains. In the central R&D Lab of GF Casting Solutions issues like drive trains, batteries as well as chances and risks for suppliers were discussed for two days. Special Highlights were speeches from Rinspeed, Daimler Trucks, IFAM, AVL and FEV.
