The Industrial Trade Fair Moscow, a four-day event at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center, will open its gates on 27 September. More than 270 exhibitors from 20 countries will showcase product innovations from key sectors such as intralogistics, power transmission and control technology, industrial automation and surface treatment technology. Germany will be represented at the opening by Jörg Bode, Economics Minister in Lower Saxony. In a speech to be delivered at the opening Bode will speak highly of the activities staged by Deutsche Messe in Russia: “Trade fairs are the real driving force behind economic and business cooperation. They bring manufacturers and buyers together, help encourage the upgrading and improvement of products, and present investment opportunities.”

The organizers Deutsche Messe AG are confident that the Industrial Trade Fair Moscow is on a steady growth course. Dr. Andreas Gruchow, member of the Board at Deutsche Messe AG, states: “The keynote themes of our industrial fair are perfectly pitched for the Russian marketplace. The trade fair is held in conjunction with the Russian-German Industry Forum, which will offer exhibitors and visitors useful insights into the content of the displays at the event. Participants will benefit from this transparency and added value. The Forum will undoubtedly prove to be an additional boost to the Russian economy.”

Russian-German Industry Forum
On the first day of the trade fair experts at the Forum will be focusing on the subject of energy efficiency, in particular the technology involved in cutting energy consumption. In cooperation with the Russian Energy Agency (REA), the organizers are staging an attractive program. REA representatives will speak about the role of their organization in pursuing government energy efficiency targets and about the technology that is already being used in Russia as part of the country’s drive to save energy. Condition Monitoring Systems belong to the arsenal of energy-saving technology already in use. These systems permit the continuous monitoring of plant and thus optimize efficiency by identifying failures quickly.

The second day of the trade fair will focus on surface treatment technology. Experts will debate the potential of new materials and applications in terms of efficiency, cost-saving and environment–friendliness.

The third day of the event will be devoted to strategies geared to the challenges of the Russian logistics market. The Forum will address current trends and developments in the Russian Federation, especially logistics. Experts from Russia and Germany will present practical examples and demonstrate how Russian enterprises can become an integral part of the global supply-chain network. The technical challenges and appropriate solutions will be outlined, including how to manage intralogistics projects on the Russian marketplace aimed at the integration of handling, storage and commissioning systems.

The Industrial Trade Fair Moscow brings together four parallel trade fairs under one roof. Covering a total display area of 10,000 square metres, the trade fairs CeMAT RUSSIA, MDA RUSSIA, Industrial Automation RUSSIA and Surface RUSSIA are organized by Deutsche Messe AG in cooperation with the ITE Group, a British trade fair organizer with a branch in Moscow.
