ITM POLAND 2010 finished

Over 900 exhibitors from dozens of countries and territories, more than 20.000 sq. m of exhibition area and 16.000 visitors from Poland and abroad - this is the statistics of the Innovations-Technologies-Machines Poland 2010 Fair that ended on 11 June. The exhibitors of this year's edition were pleased with the quality of held talks and the number of established contacts, thus highly rating the ITM Poland fair.
 
Technologies of tomorrow 
The fair exhibitors included the companies from European Union and from exotic and remote corners of the world. During four days the exhibitors took part in the meetings with owners, presidents and directors of Polish and foreign companies as well as engineers, designers and process engineers in charge of the implementation of the modern solutions. This year's ITM Poland fair was abundant in market premieres, which attracted the audience - a new generation monitoring system, protective clothing with an intelligent active thermoregulation system an aerogel jacket which can resist temperatures of -50 to 3000 degrees

Live shows 
The ITM Poland 2010 fair benefited from the events that accompanied the exhibition that were full of demonstrations in special areas, as well as debates and conferences raising economically important issues.
The Skills Boot Camp was the venue of workshops and demonstrations of the use of appliances, as well as lectures held by branch specialists. The sixth edition of the Welding Academy workshops opened by an inaugural lecture by prof. Jan Pilarczyk attracted those, interested in the latest products and technologies in welding business, who were able to test them in practice.
The participants of the conference of the fair could learn about the assets of the use of duplex steel, laser technology in industrial applications and the directions in perfecting the automation of cutting tools. At the conference on the space technology transfer a representative of the European Space Agency presented more than a dozen examples of the use of very light, compact and efficient "space" materials, encouraging Polish entrepreneurs to the use of similar technologies in industrial practice. Furthermore, the convention and exhibition: "21st Century Rail Transport for Poland" that accompanied the ITM Poland fair was another important point of the program.

Valuable trophies 
The ceremony of giving prestigious awards was a very remarkable moment of the fair. The best and the most innovative products were awarded with Gold Medals of Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie. This year the competition for a Gold Medal in the category of the "transfer of the results of the scientific research into economic practice" was judged for the fourth time. The best designed stands were awarded Acanthus Aureus

ITM Poland next year 
ITM Poland - the largest fair of modern industrial solutions was met with a great attention of local, Polish and branch-associated media, which willingly raised the questions of innovation in the context of its impact on alleviating the effects of economic slowdown. Also, the importance of fair meetings for the promotion of advanced technologies and the promotion of Poland in the ranking of the countries that appreciate and popularise innovation was emphasized many times. The next edition of the ITM Poland fair, which is called "the factory of the future" and takes place on 14-17 June 2011, creates an opportunity to debate and seek practical solutions for increasing the quality of the Polish industry.
