On the occasion of the FENAF 2022, held from June 13th - 16th in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the Künkel Wagner Germany exhibition team met many foundry experts, strengthened their existing business relations and established new contacts. Deputy Managing Director Ralf Schulze, Senior International Sales Manager Gelson Günther-Montero and Sales & Marketing Director of North America Market Carlos Quintella participated in the exhibition and presented their range of products together with the ECO Sand team (their partner company in Brazil).
A large number of visitors from leading Brazilian and other Latin American companies saw the Künkel Wagner professionals for high-quality discussions and information exchanges during face-to-face meetings at the booth and at the accompanying conference. In connection with the current significant growth of the Brazilian foundry industry, relevant information on many new projects were exchanged.
At the conference Gelson Montero and Carlos Quintella gave detailed presentations which attracted many of the foundry experts who attended the 19th CONAF. Carlos Quintella spoke about The Foundry and its Challenges (A Fundição e seus Desafios). His presentation was supplemented by Gelson Montero who shared interesting information and facts with the conference visitors about the Increase in metallurgical yield in nodular cast iron, by understanding the relationship between mold properties and graphite expansion (Incremento do rendimento metalúrgico em ferro fundido nodular, pelo entendimento da relação propriedades do molde com a expansão da grafita).
