Lesedauer: min

Euromag, a large and modern <link _top>magnesium die casting <link _top>foundry in Poland located in Kędzierzyn-Koźle is to launch a line producing components for the French TGV trains. The first part of the ultra-fast train to leave the factory in Poland is an elbow-rest. The company has also plans to manufacture other components.

A two-week test phase of the elbow-rest production is to be launched by Euromag in October. Tools and the cast are currently under preparation. Compin, a company in charge of interior design of TGV trains, says 20,000 of these components are needed in the first year.

TGV is not the first international contractor for the Polish <link _top>foundry. Euromag is already cooperating with Delphi, a world leader in mobile electronics, transportation components, and systems technology and Makita – Japanese manufacturer of professional electric tools.
