Yonhap reported that the number of foreign made vehicles registered in South Korea has surged in 2010 on the strength of improving economic conditions that help spur consumer demand.
According to the report by the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs, the total number of foreign cars registered with the government jumped 20% YoY to 460,892 as of May 31st 2010.
