USA - Maynard Steel Casting Receives Delivery Award

Lesedauer: min

Maynard Steel Casting, Milwaukee, recently received an award from executives of P&H Mining Co., also of Milwaukee, recognizing 100% on-time delivery for six consecutive months.

Attending the presentation of the award were Maynard executives and employees, Frank Vanoss, P&H’s manager of procurement and logistics, and Bob Mueller Jr., procurement specialist.

According to a company press release, Maynard is only the third supplier to reach P&H’s on-time delivery standard.

“These aren’t given out very often,” said Mueller, who presented the award to Ray Sabin, Maynard’s plant manager.

In addition to P&H, Maynard produces large steel castings for Bucyrus International and Manitowoc Crane Group, a subsidiary of the Manitowoc Co.

“We are very proud to be recognized for this accomplishment,” said Mike Wabiszewski, Maynard president. “Our ability to achieve this standard is a direct result of our people and their willingness to strive for continuous improvement. Our goal now is to keep it up and to continue to be a good partner and supplier to our customers.”
