The real estate and assets of Michigan Steel will be sold at a two-day auction event conducted by Stuart B. Millner & Associates (SBMA), an asset management company.
The event starts July 10 at 10 a.m. EST with the sale of the real estate, a 17-acre lot on Lake Muskegon (to be sold either as parcels or whole). The sale of the foundry's equipment, systems and machinery will follow.
The auction will be both an onsite and online event. SBMA will host the event on the Michigan Steel property located at 1148 West Western Avenue, Muskegon, MI 49440. Online bidders need to register at Bidspotter.com.
SBMA specializes in the deactivation and decommissioning of industrial and power plants. The company has clients across North America and offices in St. Louis and Philadelphia.
