It is reported that Nucor Steel Marion Inc of Marion has recently received a second place Innovation Award for a new product used on America's roadways. Nucor produces the "NU-GUARD Guardrail System." Standard guardrails are mounted to the company's specially designed RIB-BAK U-channel steel posts, allowing for a smoother, more reliable vehicle redirection after impact.
