ITPS - Messe Düsseldorf, VDMA thermprocess technology trade association, CECOF and the trade magazine “heat processing” initiate Thermprocess Summit
The top management from the thermoprocess technology industry is meeting in Düsseldorf on 09.-10. July 2013 for the International Thermprocess Summit
The four technology trade fairs GIFA, METEC, THERMPROCESS and NEWCAST caused a stir in the industry in June last year.
With 79,000 visitors from 83 countries and 1,958 exhibitors, the four events provided impressive confirmation of their position as the leading trade fairs in their industry. As far as the corporate exhibitors were concerned, the good business done both during and after the trade fairs was a particularly convincing demonstration of the excellent position held by the “Bright World of Metals, as the international technology forum is often known as well.
It was primarily the experts from overseas, especially those from India, who opened new sales markets up for the THERMPROCESS exhibitors. However, since the innovation cycles in the industry are becoming increasingly short, Messe Düsseldorf, VDMA (with the German thermoprocess technology trade association, Frankfurt), CECOF (European Committee of Industrial Furnace and Heating Equipment Associations, Frankfurt) and the trade magazine “heat processing” published by Vulkan-Verlag are initiating an International Thermprocess Summit known as ITPS, a first-rate congress for which the experts from the industry are being invited to come to Düsseldorf on 9. and 10. July 2013.
The target group for the event will be the CEOs and senior executives from the relevant markets – such key industries as metal production and processing, automotive manufacturing, glass, ceramics, cement, chemicals and petrochemicals. Messe Düsseldorf Director Friedrich-Georg Kehrer: “We have a very specific aim here, which is to bring the users together with the plant manufacturers and to offer them a highly professional lecture programme as well as time for technical discussions.” Kehrer also points out that both sides will enjoy tremendous additional
benefits from attending the ITPS as a result of the ideal combination of networking and opportunities to talk about technical issues with other experts from the industry.
The ITPS programme reflects the pressing issues of our time, with the focus on sustainability, minimisation of resource consumption and energy efficiency. These are particularly tough challenges that the representatives of the key industries have to tackle today and in future. The topics include the future of energy-intensive industries in Europe, the current economic situation on the market, technical development trends in thermoprocess technology and the requirements made by customers on the manufacturers (the motto here: “Technological innovation driven by the customer”).
Alongside the lecture programme, customers who are interested can act as ITPS sponsors and present their companies in the foyer of the Congress Centre CCD South at Messe Düsseldorf during the Summit. The sponsoring arrangements are not limited exclusively to the two days of the event; they also include a website presence at www.itps-online.com. The website also incorporates all the Internet tools that exhibitors and visitors are familiar with from THERMPROCESS and has been online since September 2012.
Admission to the ITPS costs € 1,500, with a discount for bookings that are made early: the sooner the ticket is bought at www.itps-online.com, the lower the price.
