In the world of globalization the same result can be achieved in very different ways.

Manhole covers manufactured in India can be anywhere from 20% to 60% cheaper than those being produced in the United States.

In Shakti Industries in Howrah foundry workers work barefoot. On the ground floor, shoeless and stripped to the waist, they wait with giant ladles, ready to catch the molten metal that comes pouring out of the furnace.
