BEL - Belarusian manufacturers to go on display in Kiev 10-14 April

Made in Belarus, a large exhibition of Belarusian manufacturers, will be held in Kiev, Ukraine from 10 to 14 April, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Ukraine. “The International Exhibition Center in Kiev will host an exhibition of Belarusian manufacturers Made in Belarus from 10 to 14 April. This large-scale event is meant to introduce the Ukrainian business to Belarus' economic potential. The leading Belarusian companies will demonstrate their products and solutions in mechanical engineering, petrochemistry, transport, logistics, agriculture, food industry, light industry, and tourism,” the press service of the embassy noted.

The exhibition will see such flagship Belarusian manufacturers as BelAZ, Amkodor, MAZ, MTZ, Gomselmash, BMZ, Mogilevliftmash, BATE, Rogachev Plant Diaproektor, Gomel Foundry and Standards Works, and Metallurgical Works. They are going to display haul trucks, agricultural, passenger, and road construction vehicles, starters and generators for engines, fire safety systems, optical devices and details. Gefest will exhibit new models of kitchen appliances: gas stoves, electric cookers, built-in appliances, and air purifiers.

Petrochemical products will be demonstrated by companies affiliated with the Belarusian state concern Belneftekhim: Grodno Azot (acrylic fibers, polyethylene), Mogilevkhimvolokno (synthetic fibers, polyester membranes, PET preforms), Mineral Wax Plant (paraffin oil, protective wax), Mozyr Oil Refinery (fuel, bitumen), Belshina (fuel-efficient car and truck tires). Beltransnet is expected to present models of innovative transport. The country's largest cosmetics manufacturers, Belita and Vitex, will show a wide range of personal care and decorative cosmetics, and also several professional products for beauty salons. The sewing factories Polesye, 8 March, and Kupalinka are going to put on display various kinds of yarn and knitwear. These are men's and women's linen clothes for everyday wear, clothes for kids, textile, and newborn baby clothes.

Galanteya will exhibit a new lineup of women's and men's bags, backpacks, briefcases, suitcases, and coin purses from natural leather and artificial materials. Made in Belarus will also feature food products and beverages by Dyatlov Cheese-Making Plant, Shchuchin Creamery, Minsk Refrigerating Plant No. 2, and Mozyrsol. The Belarusian companies will present cheeses, butter, edible sea salt, spices, ice cream, and porridges. Minsk Sparkling Wines Factory is going to put on show sparkling wines, champagne, grape vines and cocktails which are new for the Ukrainian market.

The exhibition will also feature a business program comprising sectoral presentations by Belarusian companies. The highlight will be a conference on prospects of Ukraine-Belarus cooperation scheduled for 10 April. The event will be attended by representatives of government bodies and agencies, and also the chambers of commerce and industry of the two countries.

The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is the organizer of the Made in Belarus exhibition in Kiev. The operator is the exhibition company Belinterexpo. The event will be held with the assistance of the Belarusian Embassy in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and government bodies and business associations of Belarus and Ukraine.
