Located in Botticino Sera near Brescia, Colosio has been building high pressure diecasting machines for over 40 years and is a leader in the sector. Having supplied more than 2000 machines, Colosio is one of the few companies able to supply a fully integrated "turn-key" diecasting cell with all the associated equipment such as automatic ladles, extractors and die spraying systems made by Colosio's sister company Relbo Srl which is located a few minutes away.
Colosio's cold-chamber diecasting machines range from 140 tonnes to 3200 tonnes locking force including a new range of two platen toggle-free machines. Colosio also builds hot-chamber diecasting machines from 30 tonnes to 320 tonnes.
After a successful and historic business relation and following the installation of a new fully automated high pressure diecasting cell, JH Lavender & Co Ltd., the West Bromwich based aluminium die caster now has eight Colosio pressure diecasting machines. The latest has 1600 tonnes locking force with closed loop shot control.
Willing to improve its presence on the United Kingdom & Ireland market Colosio srl has now concluded an agency agreement with the company Ramsell-Naber Ltd for the sale of its machines and equipment.
Founded in 1975, Ramsell-Naber specializes in furnaces and equipment for the UK metal casting industry. The company's name and those of its principals, now including Colosio, are synonymous with high quality and durability.
As a leading supplier to the UK metal casting industry, Ramsell-Naber's product range includes ZPF's shaft-type melting furnaces, large holding and alloying furnaces, chip melters, charge pre-heaters and Foundry4 dosing furnaces.
Ramsell-Naber is the sole distributor in the UK and Ireland for NOLTINA® brand crucibles from Germany and for Aluminium Martigny (France) melting fluxes and chemicals. The company also represents Loramendi (Spain) for mould and core making machines, and Molten Metal Equipment Innovations (USA) for molten metal pumps.
