An intensive Fill trade exhibition season reached its successful climax with the Fill Premiere Presentation event from 13 to 17 October 2008 in Gurten.
Remarkable technological innovations to serve the most varied range of industries were the focus of this event – from the first fully automated improvement line for solid wood boards, to a path-breaking oval transport line for the production of PU car seat cushions and down to the Fill “speedliner metal” band saw.

Following on from the successful Fill Precision and Innovation Conferences, the Premiere Presentation event capped the busy Fill in-company exhibition trilogy for 2008. At this latest high-power presentation Fill demonstrated all its latest innovative world premieres to visitors from home and abroad, plus the new editions of tried-and-tested classic favourites and the attraction of an exclusive background programme for the guests.
Innovative concept: “speedliner metal”
The remarkable first Fill band saw for metal and composite materials brings among other advantages economic separation of sprue in aluminium cast parts. The “speedliner metal” is also distinguished by its robust construction, optimal use of materials, perfect sawing precision and its very high performance levels. The vertical cut precision guide with a kerf from 1.1 mm plus specially optimised hard metal saw bands guarantee an extraordinarily long service life.
