Five exhibition segments provide global automotive players with an opportunity to present their services: Energy-efficient vehicles, Engine – Transmission –Powertrain, Car Body, Automotive Electronics and Manufacturing Equipment.

FISITA Exhibition runs in parallel to FISITA World Automotive Congress which has been hosted since 1947 by the Fédération Internationale des Sociétés d’Ingénieurs des Techniques de l’Automobile. In 2012, the accompanying exhibition is jointly organized by SAE-China and NürnbergMesse China, which is contributing its long term trade show expertise. The echo to the upcoming event is positive and the organizers already announced to establish the trade show as an annual event, directed at the complete supply chain of automotive engineering and production.

International experts meet in Beijing
Covering all areas of the automotive engineering and production sector, the exhibition attracts OEMs from around the globe, such as Toyota (Japan), BMW Group and Volkswagen (Germany), FAW and Geely (China) and General Motors (USA). TIER1-component suppliers like Benteler, Bosch, Denso, Leoni, Weichai Power and ZF Friedrichshafen will also be exhibiting. Moreover, global supplier and equipment manufacturers such as ABB, Applus+IDIADA, dSPACE, ETAS, FCI, HELLA, KUKA, Molex and Phoenix Contact have confirmed their attendance. The high international participation rate is complemented with one third of Chinese exhibitors. Around 200 exhibiting companies are expected in the five trade show segments, which include energy efficient vehicles, advanced powertrain and transmission & drivelines as well as electronics, safety solutions and manufacturing technologies.

Focus on research
The FISITA World Automotive Congress enjoys high popularity worldwide. This year’s meeting will mainly focus on the subject of “Automobiles and Mobility in a Low Carbon Economy – China and the World”. For the ten technical sessions held during the congress over 1,500 papers have been submitted, most of them for the “Vehicle Design & Testing” session. In response to the noticeable interest in this subject the China Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance for Automotive Lightweight has been established. Within the alliance companies like FAW Group, Dongfeng Motor, Chery or SAIC and BAIC conduct research in the area of automotive light weighting technologies together with universities and research institutions. The alliance, which will also be present at the congress, is supported by the Chinese government. In addition, special sessions tailored to specific topics, studies, researches or projects are organized. They offer a great chance for participants to get together and discuss recent issues with specialists.

Global network for automotive engineering
With FISITA 2012 Exhibition, NürnbergMesse China adds another high level event to the Automotive Engineering Cluster of the NürnbergMesse Group. For almost four decades the German-based parent company has been organizing highly-qualified trade shows in the field of embedded systems, electronics, cast, molding and coatings. The NürnbergMesse portfolio already comprises several specialized platforms linked to the international automotive sector such as embedded world, EUROGUSS, E|DPC 2012 – International Electric Drives Production, Conference and Exhibition, AEE – AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING EXPO, China International Diecasting, SENSOR+TEST or the European and the American Coatings SHOW. FISITA 2012 Exhibition further expands NürnbergMesse’s offer in this area.
