Its machine tool manufacturing plant in Mosbach-Diedesheim, Germany, will be the setting for an open house that MAG is planning for interested parties in April. Specifically, the event takes place April 6–8, 2011. The plant has long been dedicated to the production of machining centres for dynamic metal cutting.
At the open house, MAG will present all of its machines live in a variety of stages of assembly. The offering will include the newest machines: the NBV 250 Duo vertical double-spindle machining centre for the serial production of small parts, and the NBH 1600 for large-part machining. The MAG line is able to accommodate a range of part weights extending from 20 g all the way up to 20 tons.
In addition, the display will include turning and gear-hobbing equipment. Information counters for service and e-tekx software solutions round out the MAG presentation. Also participating in the event will be company partners Rexroth Bosch, Röhm, Mapal, Siemens, and Benz.
Those interested in attending the event should acquire a registration form from MAG and submit the completed registration by March 30. Mosbach is located in the state of Baden-Württemberg, north of Stuttgart.
