Italy to be partner country at the EuroMold 2013 World Trade Fair

Frankfurt/Main, October 31, 2013: On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, this year's EuroMold – the world trade fair for mold-making and tooling, design and application development is to present Italy as its guest country. Exhibitors will present the most recent ideas, developments and products from within their national sector. A topical forum, numerous campaigns and other highlights will round off the program.

First and foremost, designers and product developers from the guest country will introduce their services to a broad international audience. Furthermore, Italian companies from the field of moldmaking and from the machine tooling industry will present their most recent developments and solutions. This year a total of fifty exhibitors from Italy are expected, twenty of them will be participating for the first time.

According to the occasion, a topical forum will take place in Exhibition Hall 9, in which Italian companies from various sectors will present innovations and special exhibits. For example, on the topic of "Personal Manufacturing with Italian Design", each day of the fair, various manufacturers will introduce 3D printing technologies in regards to Italian design. The forum will also offer a shop concept, it will be a point of contact for industry representatives, Italian-European research projects will be presented, manufacturing processes demonstrated and much more.

With more than fifty exhibitors, Italy will also be the second largest exhibiting country at the EuroMold 2013, behind only China. Last year the country also occupied a prominent position with regard to visitor figures - Italy came in first place - ahead of Austria and Switzerland
