METAL / ALUMINIUM & NONFERMET coming up trumps at Targi Kielce

METAL / ALUMINIUM & NONFERMET coming up trumps at Targi Kielce

The International Fair of Technologies for Foundry METAL and the International Fair of Aluminium & Technology, Materials and Non-Ferrous Metal Products ALUMINIUM & NONFERMET will be held on 28th- 30th September 2010.

Exhibition stands prepared by a few hundred companies from all over the world will feature special equipment for the foundry and non-ferrous metals industries, pressure casting furnaces, metalworking machines, in addition to a whole range of auxiliary tools and software to be utilized by foundries, raw materials, components, materials for metallurgic processes, as well as die-pressure castings of aluminum, magnesium and zinc alloys. All those interested in this industry will find something for themselves: visitors – a wide range of products, exhibitors – new markets.
The location of this fair (near the eastern border of the UE) excellently facilitates exchange of experience and establishment of business contacts between companies operating in the East and in the West.

Among the 260 exhibitors that had registered by the end of August are the leading producers and distributors of equipment for the foundry industry, e.g. Guss-ex / Metals Minerals (representing many companies operating mainly in Germany and Italy, as well as in Spain, Norway and Slovenia), FTL (United Kingdom), Prodlew Warsaw, Elżbieta Barabasz (representative of German companies), Disa, Swan Shephard (foundry equipment producer from the UK), Technical (Polish producer of foundry equipment), Bitech (representative of German companies), Frech (high-quality machines for pressure die-casting of non-ferrous metals), Rösler (Germany). The exhibits will also be prepared by Hüttenes Albertus, Idra (foundry machine producer), Seco/Warwick, Remix, Kelvin (representative of Italian companies), Sandvik Poland, Metimpex, Noram, Norgpol, Petrofer, Inductotherm Europe (United Kingdom), and Kom-Odlew, which will present new computer-aided casting design.

Targi Kielce has embarked upon close co-operation with Europe’s largest foundry fair organizer, Messe Dusseldorf, which, appreciating our potential, will take advantage of the Fair in Kielce to promote the world’s major event dedicated to the foundry industry – trade fairs GIFA and NEWCAST 2011 – to be held in late June next year. The trade fairs METAL / ALUMINIUM & NONFERMET will also be presented and promoted there. Thus, Targi Kielce can be regarded as an exhibition centre of international renown.

It will be the first time that METAL plays host to companies from the Middle East, i.e. Iran. There will also be a large number of Chinese companies, which regard this event as the best opportunity to enter the European market with their competitive products. Therefore entrepreneurs, especially those operating in Poland, should keep track of the quality of products offered by companies from Cathay. In addition to that, products and services will be exhibited by companies from Germany, Czech Republic, USA, Holland, Austria, France, Italy, England, Spain, Belgium, Norway, Switzerland, Slovakia, Scotland, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Lithuania, and Japan.
METAL also offers trade meetings and scientific conferences. On the eve of the fair opening, i.e. 27th September, the 51st three days’ Conference on “The Solidification and Crystallization of Metals” will begin, its organizers being the Technology University of Silesia, the Polish Academy of Sciences, and Targi Kielce.
The same as in the previous year, an annual meeting of the Central European Foundry Initiative MEGI, Europe’s major trade organization, will be held.

The Kielce foundry fair METAL enjoys membership of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry UFI, which brings together the world’s most reputable fair events. This fair is organized in conjunction with the Foundry Economic Chamber (its current President, Andrzej Ryba, holds the prestigious position of the President of the CAEF – Committee of the Association of European Foundries), the Polish Foundrymen’s Technical Association, and the Foundry Research Institute (owner of state-of-the-art technological facilities for the foundry industry), while the ALUMINIUM & NONFERMET fair is organized in co-operation with the Institute of Non-ferrous Metals in Gliwice, the leader in the non-ferrous metals industry.

If you want to know all about Poland’s foundry and non-ferrous metals industries – and become acquainted with the latest developments on the market – we invite you to Kielce!
