Metal & Steel 2011 extends the exhibiting area due to the high demand

Running from 26 -28 February 2011 in Egypt, Metal & Steel 2011 is recognized as the year's most influential and powerful networking and sales event for the Middle East & Africa steel and metal industry, thousands of key buyers and influencers from 34 countries around the region are expected during the three day event which will show the multiple facets of our know-how.

Metal & Steel 2011 is being extended the space due to the unprecedented demand from the global and regional companies to join this year edition. The entire exhibition area has been sold out four months prior to the opening so the show organizer AGEX (Arabian German Exhibitions Ltd.) expanded it to be 12.000 sqm instead of 7.000 sqm to cater for the growing number of participants and visitors. Consequently, the organizer will be able to accommodate 40 to 60 extra exhibitors depending on the floor space of their booths.

The total number of brands that will be represented at Metal & Steel 2011, with the continued support of some of the big names in the international arena as well as the major players in the region. Approximately 213 participants will be focused on steel machinery, welding, cutting, surface preparation, finishing, fabricating machines, raw material, foundry suppliers, steel producers, rolling mills tube and pipe manufacturers, wire manufacturers, steel processors and rebar manufacturers...ecc.

With the recovery of the global economy and the Middle East and neighboring regions earmarked as key markets by the global steel and metal industry. The Middle East steel industry continues to be in the thick of activities on the back of the large number of infrastructure and industrial projects in the region. So, the Egyptian government offered recently Twelve (12) new licenses to build steel mills to meet rapidly increasing demand and expected shortage by 2017, majority of the trillion-dollar projects that are already under construction continue to be on schedule. This is triggering huge demand from the steel fabrication industry for machinery and tools.

Metal & Steel 2011 is not just an exhibition with unlimited business opportunities, but it is also a platform for communication and interaction: Simultaneously it will feature a conference by industry experts and top executives who will take up issues facing the industry.

Metal & Steel 2011 has all the signs of being a sell-out, and as such if companies have not yet secured their space, they will need to move quickly. Secure Your Space NOW!
