Michael Köhler will be the new ALUMINIUM Project Manager. Köhler, 31, takes over the management of the world trade fair from Ulrike Hülbach who will transfer from Duesseldorf (the domicile of trade show organiser Reed Exhibitions Deutschland GmbH) to Vienna as her main place of residence.
Michael Köhler last held the position of Project Manager of COMPOSITES EUROPE, the leading materials trade fair for fibre-reinforced plastics in the German-speaking area, which is also organised by Reed Exhibitions. Köhler, who holds a degree in business administration, has been working in event and trade fair management since 2003.
Ulrike Hülbach will stay with the ALUMINIUM team until the September 2010 trade fair, where she will be responsible for the accompanying congress and the European Aluminium Award. Her main task as a Global Brand Manager, however, will be the management of the subsidiary trade fairs ALUMINIUM INDIA 2010, ALUMINIUM CHINA 2010 as well as ALUMINIUM Dubai 2011.

In 2010, ALUMINIUM and COMPOSITES EUROPE will be held parallel in Essen from 14 to 16 September. Together they form the biggest platform for lightweight construction materials.
