Production planning software is gaining more and more importance in small and medium foundries and thus becomes an important instrument for controlling and management. Where ordering quantities keep on shrinking and delivery dates keep on shortening, the demands for an effective planning rise to secure customer satisfaction, effectiveness and process safety.

While counselling small and medium foundries, we were approached with the task of developing a production planning software. There is the demand for a software that can cope with optimal data and and that is adapted to the special characteristics of the enterprise. FoundPlan is especially harmonised with these interests and can be adapted to the size and structure of the enterprise through its modular construction. It can be extended (at all times) from the acceptance of the order to the manufacturing planning for possible subsequent mechanical treatment and assembly. As a result, it is possible to use the standard version in grey and steel foundries as well as in die-casting works and light metal foundries and also to use extension modules in treatment enterprises.
