Recession reports - Number of metallurgical works in Russia would decrease

Echo Moscow citing Mr Igor Yurgens  Vice President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and entrepreneurs as saying that upon the end of the crisis the number of metallurgical works in Russia will decrease. He said that “I am afraid that we will not need so many metallurgical and other plants.” Mr Yurgens noticed that it was impossible to predict now the number of the metallurgical plant that would remain after the crisis. According to his words, Russian manufacturers consumed much but did not produce enough. Mr Yurgens said that agriculture and light industry enterprises will remain “needed” after the crisis. He said that “But the income after the crisis and how much we can spend, we will see later watching the government efforts on new plants development.”
