Friday 2nd December 2012 the Open Day took place at IMF Headquarters in Luino with attendance of nearly 100 guests coming from all over the world. All of them, both managers as well as technicians of some of largest foundry groups, journalists of foundry sector, had the chance, beside the usual professional and skilled organizazion of IMF Group, the highest-technological standard of the 3 equipment divisions : IMF, FOUNDRY AUTOMATION and CARLO BANFI. Great impressions have been raised by FOUNDRY AUTOMATION core machines and robot operated core production units in dry-cycle operations for engine blocks package production. IMF largest continuous mixers with capacity up to 100 tons per hour and new laser applications for a better precision and highest performances, impressive roll-over machines for NO-BAKE lines and CARLO BANFI shotblasting equipments have captured a very deep interest by all guests. This event has played a very important milestone for IMF Group, as underlined by President Mr. Gabriele Galante, during his welcome speech in the wonderful and hystorical conference room before the floor visit to the workshop.
