A total of seven companies from Europe, Asia and North America, including the Saarland VOIT Automotive, are the winners of this year's ZF Supplier Awards. They were honored for their excellent performance in December 2018 in the four categories of Digitization, Innovation, Production Material and Non-Production Material. The prizes were handed over by Wolf-Henning Scheider, Chairman of the Executive Board of ZF Friedrichshafen AG, at the ZF Global Supplier Summit, which was dominated by the topic of digitization this year.
Together with an Asian steel company and Shell Deutschland Schmierstoff, VOIT earned the award in the category "Production Material".
The St. Ingbert-based VOIT Automotive, with its aluminum diecasting and forming technology divisions, supplies ZF with transmission components, e.g. for the very successful 8-speed automatic transmission from ZF.
For ZF, VOIT is not only a strong supplier of gearbox internal parts.
The company has also been honored as a strategic partner for successful management and for its tireless work to improve the cost position of the joint venture. Since January 2017, ZF and VOIT have jointly operated the French Fonderie Lorraine, with majority ownership and technological leadership of VOIT Automotive.

"As Industrial Leader of the Fonderie Lorraine in France and with the recent decision to further expand the production site in Poland, we took a major strategic step towards cost leadership and strengthened ZF's global production footprint."
