Plattform for Knowhow-Transfer

Once again, the Technical Forum and the GIFA Conference offer a high-quality technical information programme with numerous highlights and special exhibitions. Here, in an international environment, there is an exchange regarding technical and scientific progress in casting technology.

The Technical Forum, which is being organised by the Association of German Foundrymen (VDG) in partnership with the World Foundrymen Organization, in Hall 13, is the most important industry meeting on the subject of process technology issues – and is also a platform for high-quality knowledge transfer. Alongside an organised student programme, as in previous years, there will be a GIFA meeting and communication platform as well as an experts’ meeting and the technology network for all casting professionals.

The Bright World of „ecoMetals“ – initiative for more sustainability

The international specialist trade fair quartet GIFA, METEC, THERMPROCESS and NEWCAST again encompasses the tried-and-tested "ecoMetals" initiative in 2015. The campaign for more sustainability aims at responsible, environmentally conscious action. Because, a clean environment requires state-of-the-art technologies: Above all resource-saving procedures for sustainable growth and technical solutions, which are in harmony with nature.

Reaching new targets through efficiency

Products and processes, which are shown at the international trade fairs GIFA, METEC, THERMPROCESS and NEWCAST 2015 in Düsseldorf, can make a considerable contribution to using energy more efficiently.

Messe Düsseldorf attaches great importance to this development, which is based on a climate-compatible usage of resources and materials. This is all about “clean competence” – a clean future for industrial manufacturing companies, their suppliers and their customers. The solutions for the future can be found in technological innovations.

We inspire visionaries!

Only the visions, which our exhibitors are developing and implementing today, will also help convince with sustainable products and services tomorrow. Companies that invest in effi ciency can economize more profitably, because they use less energy and fewer resources.

With its initiative “ecoMetals”, Messe Düsseldorf wants to support the commitment of companies who will introduce innovative products and processes for the first time at the four trade fairs of the “Bright World of Metals” and thus will make a contribution to energy efficiency and sustainability. In plain language: The “ecoMetals” initiative should help contribute to a better future.
