In January 2018, the MAGMAacademy released its new annual program. In the trainings and workshops, software users can systematically qualify themselves as experts for different materials and casting processes by making methodological use of Autonomous Engineering with MAGMASOFT® and the MAGMA APPROACH.
The structured approach of the MAGMAacademy STEPS runs through all qualification levels: from basic training up to the specific use of the software in their company’s specific casting process.
MAGMAacademy seminars are also aimed at users of simulation results such as foundry executives, casting purchasers or design, quality or procurement experts. They provide basic information about different cast alloys and casting processes and show the potentials offered by an individual simulation, virtual designs of experiments and Autonomous Engineering. Based on concrete use cases, the participants learn how to methodologically introduce casting process simulation, secure its findings and use it as a technical communication platform both within the company as well as with suppliers or customers.
There are new additions to our program with English-language workshops as well as the seminar “Simulation of Cast Iron”. Also new are specially tailored seminars now also available on-site in your company. The direct exchange of ideas between your employees, the integration of all relevant departments of your company combined with the expertise of the lecturers offer an even greater benefit.
The foundation for all MAGMAacademy educational offerings is the adoption of the MAGMA APPROACH, its systematic use in six steps illustrating how foundrymen and casting purchasers can systematically reduce costs and realize potential added value in their companies. Along the complete process chain – from component development up to series production of castings – the participants in MAGMAacademy events learn all about the advantages of this approach.
