Publisher Schiele & Schön GmbH, producer of among other things the Foundry-Handbook, the paperback of the foundry practice, as well as the Foundry Lexicon's print edition, has recently moved into new offices in the Schlangenbader Straße 13 in Berlin.
The new business premises are located in an architectural highlight of the 70s in a "lying skyscraper" over the Autobahn in Berlin West.
Employees, friends and business partners celebrated the inauguration and simultaneously the retirement of long-time co-CEO, Karl-Michael Mehnert.
Mehnert, who after 53 years of active employment will now take over a role as consultant, recommended that his publishing house be able to quickly grasp the digital requirements in times of changing industries and media. Together with good partners and an excellent staff of employees, as well as the managing directors Harald Rauh and Dr. Ing. Hans-Gerd Conrad, the company will embrace new ideas and a fresh spirit for the challenges of the future.
