The long and deep experience of the company SAVELLI S.p.A. in the field of molding lines for the production of brake discs and drums is unquestionable.
SAVELLI, in fact, since 1984 has provided molding plants for the production of brake discs and drums at leading companies such as Hyundai Motor, Nissan-Renault, Fonderia di Torbole, Sungwoo, Fonderie Regali, LUK and Regali Brasil, EKU, Frum, Castertech, GPI Industries etc…
SAVELLI has began serving Brembo since 1996 and has seen its growing over the years, spreading in the World, as the increase of its demands.
SAVELLI is pleased to announce that on February 26, 2015 has achieved the second positive acceptance test (performance test) by Brembo S.p.A., Mapello (BG, Italy).
The acceptance test was related to the revamping of the existing SAVELLI F1 horizontal flask molding line, which was installed in 1998 and originally designed for 200 molds per hour. We would like to emphasize that during the last 16 years this molding line had always a constant production rate over 240 complete molds per hour.
In August/September 2014 SAVELLI revamped the existing molding line, replacing the basic machines and keeping the existing flaskless molds’ cooling house with steel jackets.
it was a very complex and hard work in a very short time, also because when you put your hands into the old equipment and you have to integrate it with the new equipment, you never know which surprises you can find.
This second acceptance test was executed after 5 months of full production of 3 shifts a day (8 hours each) per 5 days a week. The result was really positive.
Brembo Managers confirmed that the castings’ quality is excellent and even better than before; they also confirmed that they reached the production’s record of 2.000 good poured molds in 8 hours.
Brembo is the Italian leading supplier of high performance braking systems for the premier makers of automobiles, motorcycles and commercial vehicles worldwide and we are proud of the fact that also SAVELLI technology contributes to a small part of its huge success.
