Sogemi is present on the market of chemical bonded sand equipment, Known as No-Bake technology, since 1968. The long experience in this field, more than 45 years, puts Sogemi on the top as supplier for all the machines & Engineering related to No-Bake equipment and complete no bake systems.
In the 80's, together with the development of the No-Bake equipment technology, Sogemi entered in the field of melting furnace for cast iron with the technology of Rotary furnace with oxy-combustion. By means of the invention of the rotary furnace with oxy-combustion, Sogemi has introduce this new type of furnace, that uses the combustion of oxygen and natural gas to melt every type of cast iron and has been adopted in more than 120 cast iron foundries; In Italy this furnace is now considered as one of the most efficient and flexible technology to melt cast iron.
